BOXER SPOTLIGHT: BENTLEY IIBentley II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Bentley II! I am a handsome 9 year old flashy fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner becoming homeless and my caretaker is unable to keep me. I am described as active, smart, protective, playful, affectionate, and nervous! I currently live with another dog(s) and it is said that we get along fine. I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. There is an 18 month old human kid in my home and I am very good with him! I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in my kennel. If the humans must be away and I am left alone, I react fine and am good! When outside I do not dig, but am quite the acrobat and can jump a fence, so proper supervision and containment is needed. I haven't encountered anything that I'm afraid of and love to ride in the car and play! If you think I would make a great fit for your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! BOXER SPOTLIGHT: ROSIE VIIRosie VII is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Rosie VII ! I am a beautiful 8 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to declining health of a family member and I am not cat friendly with the cats in the home. I am described as active, smart, playful, affectionate, and nervous! I am picky about my dog friends and am leash reactive when I see a dog I do not know, so a slow and proper introduction is needed. I currently live with 2 male pitbull mixes and a goldendoodle and while we do get along well, it took a bit for me to warm up to them. There are three cats in the home and I do not like them and will chase them so I need a home with no cats for everyone's safety. There is a 14 year old kid in my home and I am great with them and other kids I have had contact with. When I see new people I am uncertain and will bark at them but need time to warm up. I am house trained but will need assistance with crate training in my forever home if it is required. At night I sleep in a bed with any family member and if the humans must be away, I have shown some separation anxiety. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig but I have jumped a kiddie gate when left behind one. I am fearful of quick movements and it is suspected I was previously not treated well. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, cuddling, running, and sleeping under the blankets with the humans! My current owner says I am "a very sweet girl" and I agree! If you think I would make a great addition to your family and you are willing to be patient and help me gain confidence and socialization skills, contact the rescue today because I am waiting to meet you!If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application austinboxerrescue.com/ways-to-help/foster/If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/ ...
