BOXER SPOTLIGHT: BEAR IIBear II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Bear II ! I am a handsome 9 year old flashy brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to my family relocating out of state and living in corporate housing that will not allow them to keep me. I am described as friendly, smart, calm, protective, playful, affectionate, quiet, and obedient! I do not live with another dog but am said to get along with other neighbor dogs on playdates and at doggy daycare! It is unsure if I am feline friendly so a proper introduction would be best. I currently live with a 3 year old kid and am great with her! We even play dress up and I am very tolerant of it! If needed, I will protect the home by barking and letting people know I am there. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep on a bed in the entryway or on the humans bed when allowed. If the humans must be away, I do well being left alone but will see if there are any treasures for me in the bathroom trash if the door is left open. When outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. I am extremely afraid of rainy weather, storms, and fireworks and do not like my left ear rubbed despite the vet not finding anything wrong with it. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, stuffed animals, hard bully toys, anything that squeaks, playing outside, running with the humans when playing with toys, occasional swimming in the pool, sitting in the pool for a cool down, chasing rabbits and squirrels, and most importantly napping with the humans! BOXER SPOTLIGHT: NIXNix is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Nix! I am a handsome 7-8 year old fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to not getting along with the male dog in the home and I am marking my territory in the home. I am described as friendly, smart, calm, affectionate, and quiet! I currently live with a female pug and cats and get along with them but not the male dog. I am said to be curious and love tiny animals! I currently live with four kids (ages 10-17 years) and do well with them. If younger children are playing loudly or rough with each other, I will push my way in and settle them down. Because of this it can be startling to smaller children so I may do best in a home with older kids. I am stingy with my toys and don't like others playing with them so I play with toys when I can be alone with them. I used to not like people in my face but have since calmed down and seem to have grown out of that. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I usually sleep in the living room on my bed but have recently been sleeping in the sun room. If the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I do not like loud noises, rambunctious playing from children, or play-fighting. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, ear rubs, beggin strips, and getting alot of attention!
