Sunkist2Thank you all for the work you do in rescuing and rehabilitating these wonderful dogs. I have wanted a boxer for years and finally decided to foster for your group, to try things out and make sure the breed was for me. After spending one adoption day morning meeting several boxers and foster parents, one of my pugs and I finally found Sunkist. She seemed very easy going and sweet and didn’t intimidate my pug. We promptly offered to foster her. She loaded right up in the car, rested quietly the whole ride home and just fit right in. Sunkist has great house manners, is quiet, clean, a great traveler, great on the leash and happy to meet people and just hang out. It didn’t take but a few days for us to decide we wanted to adopt her. We enjoy her “boxing” when she wants to play and she and the pugs are getting comfortable enough now to play some together. We had a minor issue with cat chasing at first, but Sunkist quickly learned not to do so and now just glances at the cats as they walk by. We are so glad she has come into our home!

Sincerely,

Brenda Miller
