VARDONHi! My name is Vardon. I am an approximately 5 year old brindle boy. Not much is known about my background but my foster family says it seems clear that I came from a family. I would make a great family dog, am super outgoing and love to hang out with the teenagers in the house. I fancy myself as a lap dog. I am house trained and will stand at the door when I need to take care of my business outside. I love to patrol the back yard and lay in the grass and sunbath on nice days. I am crate trained and go into my crate with no problem if given a little treat. I do have bursitis (fluid in the joint) in my left elbow which causes me to limp but I have no pain from it and can walk and run at full speed. Memorial - Savannah KayI just wanted to thank you all for blessing us with Savannah Kay back in September 2011. You gave her to us after we lost our first boxer in the Bastrop Wildfire. She was the best cure for our broken hearts at that time. After having her for 18 months she was stolen from our home in Buda. But a miracle occurred and you called us a year later to tell us she had been found in Lockhart. Thank you for chipping her. She came back with heart worms again and was so sick but she made it through. She was the gentlest soul and was great with our kids, our other pets, and anyone she came in contact with. We lost her this Friday to cancer and we are so lost without her but I am forever grateful for Austin Boxer rescue for putting her in our lives and our heart forever.
