BOXER SPOTLIGHT: FORREST IIHi! My name is Forrest! I am an adorable 16 week old tripod, but don't let that shy you away because I get around like I have all 4 legs! Not much is known about my previous life except that I was found dumped with a leg injury that was sustained around 4 weeks of age but I do not let it slow me down! I like to play with my foster siblings, snuggle, run zoomies, and 100% guard dog ready! I alert the humans if anything is out of place or any stranger is present. I am friendly to all but will alert with barking! I am a vocal boy and will 'talk' with my foster siblings by groaning and grumbling. I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained! I currently live with kids ages 10-18 years old and I am great with all of them! I do have puppy tendencies but I am easily correctable! I get along great with the resident dogs and love to play and snuggle with them! I am very smart, emotionally in tune, sweet, and playful! My foster mom says I would be a great fit for any house from kids to elderly. She says my alertness would make me a great fit for potential service dog activities or for someone that has additional needs or for medical dog training. If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet youIf you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application austinboxerrescue.com/ways-to-help/foster/ If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/ ... BOXER SPOTLIGHT: LUCKY IVLucky IV is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Lucky IV! I am a handsome 4-5 year old flashy fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to being found as a stray and my caretakers getting me healthy to find my forever home! I am described as friendly, playful, and affectionate! I currently live with five other dogs and I get along well with them and enjoy playing with them! I can get stingy with my food so feeding separately might be best. I also live with two cats and am said to be cat friendly! There is a special needs child and a 17 year old in my current home and I am good with them too! I am house trained, crate trained, eat kibble along with ground turkey/ mixed veggies/ rice twice per week, and sleep wherever I please! I have access to the entire house at night and I can sleep on dog beds, kennels or the couch, but my favorite spot is on the dog bed next to the human bed! If the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. I am fearful of the vacuum cleaner and brooms and get startled easily. Some of my favorite things are toys that squeak, sunbathing, getting love, being close to my people, laying in the living room with the humans while they are watching tv, exploring the ranch, and visiting the farm animals! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
