Foster spotlight: DeliaHi! My name is Delia! I am a beautiful 7 year old fawn senior lady who is looking for my forever home! Not much is known about my previous life except that I was found as a stray in San Antonio and was at risk for euthanasia until the rescue saved me! I am a well mannered lady who knows basic commands, doesn't jump, calm with little bursts of energy, and loves to cuddle! I am house trained, crate trained, and am great on leash! I have visited the laundromat and library and am calm, stayed by my foster mom's side, and minded my business! My latest outing was a neighborhood gathering and I stayed by my foster mom's side and took in all the festivities around me! I love riding in the car and enjoy using my slow feeder bowl and getting treats out of the Kong toy. I have had exposure to kids in public and in the neighborhood and am calm, sit for pets, and gently take treats from them! Although I have been curious about cats, I have developed issues with them and would do best in a cat free home. I recently stayed with a temp foster and it was discovered at this time that I need to be the only dog in the home. They said I seem to have fear concerns with other dogs and although that could potentially be resolved with behavioral training, socialization, and patience it is best I am the only dog in the home at this time. Foster highlight: EbbaHi! My name is Ebba! I am a beautiful 8 year old flashy fawn lady! No information is known about my history but I'm looking forward to my forever family now! I am energetic when I am first let out of my crate, but settle quickly. I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained! I enjoy my evening walks and have been learning house rules and manners while settling nicely into daily routines. My foster home does not have kids so a proper introduction would be needed. I happily follow my foster mom around the house and am a world champion snuggler! I am an avid squirrel chaser and would chase them up the tree if I could, so I need to live in a cat free and small animal free home. Because I have a high prey drive with the squirrels, my foster mom doesn't leave me in the backyard unattended. I can be a bit bossy and protective so it would be best for me if I was the only dog in the home or paired with a passive male. If you are looking for a well mannered, snuggly lady, here I am!
