Our precious Ollie (ABR Turbo) crossed the rainbow bridge in the early morning hours of August 3rd wrapped in his favorite blanket with both his parents holding him. Ollie had a hard start in this life, but in the four years that he was in our home he was undoubtedly one of the most loved boxers in Texas.

Ollie was gentle. He was always polite. He was a natural therapy dog and worked to comfort us right until his final moments on this earth. He battled ARVC (boxer cardiomyopathy) without complaint. We will always love him and always miss him.

There aren’t words good enough to thank Austin Boxer Rescue for saving our baby so he could get to us. The work that the volunteers tirelessly do is changing lives. I hope when our hearts heal enough that we can continue to help the mission of saving boxers in Texas.

It was a honor to be Ollie’s parents. We are left with deep sadness that he is gone and also deep joy that the universe brought us together.

Until we see you on the other side again, we love you Ollie.
