We adopted Chief a boxer from Austin Boxer rescue about 8 years ago. Prior to us adopting chief he had a pretty rough life… heart worm, neglected to the point where his collar had grown into his neck and had to be surgically removed….etc… I have multiple children; age ranging from 3-17 and chief has always been a great friend to them; through it all always protective and never aggressive toward any of them.
Sadly Chief passed away recently… he was approximately 13 years old.
