BOXER SPOTLIGHT: RAMBO IIRambo II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Rambo II! I am a handsome 3 year old white boxer boy that is an owner surrender due to changes in my family's dynamics and no one is able to care for me. I am bonded to my companion, Dixie, and it is important that we are adopted together, which means double the boxer love! I am described as friendly, active, smart, calm, playful, and affectionate! I am said to get along with other dogs great! I have never lived with a cat but it is said I do not like them so I need a cat free home. There are 5 children in the home (ages 3-19 years) and I am said to be kid friendly! I am crate trained but will need assistance with house training in my forever home. At night I sleep inside or outside in a kennel and if the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, attention, and love! My current owner says I am "very sweet" and I agree! BOXER SPOTLIGHT: LOU IIILou III is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Greetings! My name is Lou III! I am a handsome 9.5 year old flashy fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner being allergic to me. I am a proud member of the rescue's Silver Heart program so be sure and ask about it because it has great perks for my adoptive family! I am described as friendly, shy, smart, calm, affectionate, quiet, nervous, gentle, a people pleaser, and obedient! My owner attempted to rehome me, but the dogs in the home were stressful to me and it appears I would do best in a calm home to live out the rest of my life. I currently do not live with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. There are two kids in my home (ages 14 and 17 years) and while I am fine with older kids, being in a home with young kids would be stressful to me because I like a calm environment. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and I eat wild salmon based grain free food due to a sensitive stomach. I love to sleep in my crate at night and find it comforting. If the humans must be away I do fine as long as I am crated because I am nervous when left out, but am not destructive. I can be a bit shy and take a bit to warm up before I ask for pets but am very sweet and love people! When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences. Some of my favorite things are collagen bones, my fluffy bed, wandering the backyard and exploring, and being with people! I recently visited the doctor and it was noted I have congestive heart failure and may possibly need medication for my life, but do not let that shy you away! I am a great boy with alot of love to give and am looking for my forever home to live out the remaining time in my life, however long that may be.
