BOXER SPOTLIHGT: LUNA XIIILuna XIII is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Luna XIII ! I am a beautiful 7.5 year old white boxer girl that is an owner surrender due to the other dog in the home not getting along with me. I am described as friendly, smart, calm, playful, affectionate, quiet, and obedient! I do great in boarding/doggy day care and am said to be sweet, playful, and gentle with other dogs! I currently live with 2 cats and am playful with them if they want to be entertained. There have also been foster kittens in my home and I've always played with them as well. I live with a 14 year old kid and love to lick and greet them and am playful and gentle with them! I am house trained, crate trained, have had professional training, know basic commands, leash trained, and will walk beside my owner! I currently eat Royal Canin Ultamino due to needing a food that is gentle on my stomach and good for skin and allergies. At night I sleep on my bed or on the couch and if the humans are away, I am very chill. I am used to a home with a doggy door and on occasion I can get lonely if alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am fearful of the swiffer sweeper and vacuum and if I see it, I will go outside through the dog door and wait until they are put away to come inside. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, bully sticks, greenies, bones with peanut butter or treats inside, belly rubs, being pet gently between my eyes and on my nose, running around playing with other dogs, sleeping on the couch, bed or in the sunshine on the porch! If you are looking for a loving and social girl contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application austinboxerrescue.com/ways-to-help/foster/ If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/ ... BOXER SPOTLIGHT: LUCYLucy IX is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! We are Linus and Lucy IX! We are beautiful 7 year old fawn littermates who are owner surrenders due to our owner being unable to afford to care for us. We are littermates and have never been apart, therefore we need to be adopted together which means double the Boxer love and fun for you! We are described as friendly, active, smart, noisy, playful, affectionate, and nervous! We have not had exposure to many other dogs but live with a rescue pug and after a few weeks of getting used to him, we are very close with him. We occasionally see stray cats on the property we live at but due to us being in a fenced area, we do not have interaction with them and will bark at them. We have had limited exposure to children but our owner's niece occasionally visits and after giving us time to calm down, we are allowed to interact with her and we are great and will even lay next to her to watch a movie or stay by her side. We are always happy to see new people and it takes a few minutes for us to contain our excitement! We are house trained but will need crate training if that is required in our forever home. At night we sleep on the couch, love seat, or recliner and if the humans must be away, we are good being left alone. When outside we have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of our fears include thunder and fireworks but we love riding in the car, chew toys, playing tug of war with rope toys, daily walks in the morning and evening, snuggling, sitting next to the humans, and getting pets from the humans! If you think we would make a great addition to your home, contact the rescue today and give them our names because we are waiting to meet you!If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application austinboxerrescue.com/ways-to-help/foster/ If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/ ...
