BOXER SPOTLIGHT: GIORGIOHi! I’m a 4 year old flashy brindle boy that will charm you with my one blue eye & small stature! Prior to the rescue I got myself into an unknown situation which resulted in an extensive injury to my front left leg causing it to be amputated. I am able to easily move around in the home with carpeting or rugs. I’m heartworm positive but the rescue will pay for treatment! I’m house trained, crate trained, sleep on the dog bed in the human's room, eat dry or wet food, and am well behaved when being left alone if the humans are away. I live with a submissive girl and we get along well. A much larger girl dog stayed with us for a week and at the beginning I was scared and it took me a couple of days of slow intros to be comfortable around her and not growl at her. I will grumble at new people that enter the home but keep my distance until I warm up to them. I don’t live with a cat so it is uncertain if I am cat friendly. I live with 3 teenagers & love them all, especially when they give me attention and affection! I have met young school age or late toddler aged kids and am gentle with them & enjoy them loving on me! I get nervous in the car & prefer someone to sit with me & comfort me. As for my ideal home, there are a couple of requests. I need a home with no stairs or if there are stairs, it's to an area that is not used by anyone so that I do not go up them. I also need a raised feeder to help me not have to lean over so much. I would benefit from a slow feeder bowl because I eat quickly! Some of my favorite things are getting attention & affection, being outside to roll in the grass, food, treats, and following the humans to know what they are doing! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! BOXER SPOTLIGHT: EBBAHi! My name is Ebba! I am a beautiful 8 year old flashy fawn lady! No information is known about my history but I'm looking forward to my forever family now! I am energetic when I am first let out of my crate, but settle quickly. I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained! I enjoy my evening walks and have been learning house rules and manners while settling nicely into daily routines. My foster home does not have kids so a proper introduction would be needed. I happily follow my foster mom around the house and am a world champion snuggler! I am an avid squirrel chaser and would chase them up the tree if I could, so I need to live in a cat free and small animal free home. Because I have a high prey drive with the squirrels, my foster mom doesn't leave me in the backyard unattended. I can be a bit bossy and protective so it would be best for me if I was the only dog in the home or paired with a passive male. If you are looking for a well mannered, snuggly lady, here I am! Contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application austinboxerrescue.com/ways-to-help/foster/ If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/ ...
