We adopted Alfie a little over 3 months ago, and he’s totally stolen my heart. He’s gone from being a timid, skinny little guy, to a freakazoid happy maniac, and is now beginning to understand when to chill out and when to explode with excitement! After I lost Catfish, my 6 year old boxer, to cancer in July, I found myself visiting the Boxer Rescue site fairly often. As soon as I saw Alfie’s sweet face and read his sad story of neglect, I knew he was going to be mine. He could not be more appreciative of everything he has, and only wants to let you know how much he loves you. He very much enjoys his loooong walks each day, and I’m looking forward to our first visit to the dog park. His name should be Trash Compactor because he LOVES to chew….anything! We litter the house with toys so that he’s always got something to work on. Thank you so much for letting us be Alfie’s parents — we love sharing our lives and our home with this handsome boy!
