BIN 2610

BIN 2610
He just turned 3 years old in March. He is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained (though first few min on a walk he’s a little excited). He gets along with other dogs, previous owner said he gets overwhelmed at dog parks so she stopped taking him. He has never shown any aggression towards our other dog – no resource guarding. Not destructive when left out. He knows basic commands and is very obedient/eager to please and very smart. Does not jump on people. He is a good mix of playful and cuddly, would describe him as higher energy. We  think he’d do well with another dog or a very active family. He has a prey drive with squirrels and bunnies but has never been around cats. He is protective of our house and us, he does a quiet low growl when he sees people on walks or when we have friends over but if they come up and pet him, he’s a total wiggle monster and very gentle. We don’t think he had much exposure to walks/new people at his previous home so we try to get him out as much as possible. He was prescribed a high-fiber food at that visit which has seemed to help his stool, but may be a barrier to adoption as the food is expensive.
