In the last two years, we have adopted two boxers from ABR, Riley, formerly known as Gift, and Reece. We adopted Reece, the brindle, in 2010 & Riley, the pup, this past October. As some of you might remember, Riley was at deaths door :( and had parvovirus. He was very sick. When we got him, he had just been released from the vet for adoption and taken off IV. We met him at adoption day with hopes of adopting a different pup. Well, everything happens for a reason because that day, we brought home Riley instead!! He is an awesome dog. He has not only brought joy to our home, but given his big boxer brother Reece someone to play with. He has recovered very nicely from the parvovirus and is growing like crazy! He just finished all his vaccinations and is very healthy. Between both our boys, there is never a dull moment or anyone going without lovin’ or lickin’!!! They love us so much and we them! It has been a true blessing to save these boxers and give them a “fur” ever home! I honestly don’t know what’d we do without them! They can bring a smile to our face in a second. There’s just something magical when you come home from a long day of work and there, as soon as you open the door, two wiggle butts shaking away ready to lick and love on their momma & daddy and human siblings! Their love is unconditional and it melts my heart Every time. Thank you ABR for helping us help these two amazing boxers and completing our family!!! We love our Reece and Riley ;)
