I would like to share our Beloved Bruce with the Austin Boxer Rescue. My husband and I adopted Bruce in February 2009.

His name was “Diver” and from the minute we saw him we fell in love with him. We named him Bruce after my husband’s martial arts icon Bruce Lee.

Bruce was just a pup and brought so much joy and happiness to our lives. We are forever grateful to the Austin Boxer Rescue for bringing Bruce and us together. Little did I know back then how much I could fall in love with a dog. Bruce was so smart and funny and always by our side through good times and bad times. Bruce learned words like “walk” and “snack” that me and my husband soon had to come up with other words like “dub” and “s-n-a” when we didn’t want Bruce to know we were talking about him.

Bruce was called up to heaven on April 8, 2020. My husband and I miss him so much. We just wanted to share our appreciation to the Austin Boxer Rescue for all you all do. We will forever be grateful for people like you all and the foster people that provide the love that so many pups need.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we will continue to help the boxer rescue when ever we can.
