We are the Polk family from Katy, Texas. We adopted Bucee (Curly) on October 10, 2010 from ABR, he was just three months old at the time.

We made so many memories with Bucee over the years, he even traveled back and forth with us many times, when we lived in the Middle East. In the past year and a half he was in declining health but never in his spirit.

Ultimately we had to lay him to rest on Saturday, September 19th, 2020. Bucee had several health issues including DM, Degenerative Myelopathy.

He will be missed by our family and the many friends that he made. He was a big sweetie, all 85lbs of him. We often said that he was like Clifford the Big Red Dog, all the love made him grow so big an strong. Thank you for helping to bring him to our lives.
