BOXER SPOTLIGHT: LAREDOLaredo is a healthy male at just 9 months old. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way with him. He is still learning to be calm around the littles, so he’ll need some supervision at first. Laredo attended training class, but his previous family tells us they didn’t see too much change. Laredo becomes friendly with other dogs after he overcomes a little shyness at first. While he was with his previous owner, Laredo was house trained and slept in his crate at night. Laredo enjoyed riding in the car, but being at home alone didn’t seem to bother him. He’ll need some backyard supervision until he learns that digging is a no-no. His favorite pastime is playing w/ just about any toy that makes noise. His favorite toy is his squeaky pig. Like most dogs, Laredo is treat motivated and likes to eat. So, keep a watchful eye at the backyard BBQ. Laredo will make a nice addition to an active family who will be devoted to his development. BOXER SPOTLIGHT: DOLLYHi! My name is Dolly! I am a beautiful 6 year old sweet girl with a great personality and energy! Prior to joining the rescue in May, I was found as a stray in Fort Bend County but have become a loving part of a foster home! I am happy and content going on walks/runs or winding down to cuddle and relax at home with the humans! I am well behaved on walks, house trained, crate trained, have great manners, don't beg for food, and rarely bark! I am wonderful with children! I am incredibly gentle, patient, and loving around them and genuinely enjoy their company! I am also very dog friendly! I currently reside in an apartment where I see lots of other dogs daily and I am always friendly, well behaved, and excited to say hello and make a new friend! I may be cat friendly according to my foster mom, but a meet and greet would be great! Some of my favorite things are going for walks, playing with my favorite stuffed unicorn toy, going on car rides, exploring new places, sunbathing at the park, sniffing around outside, relaxing in the backyard, and being where the people are! My foster mom says I am a joy to foster, and I would agree! She says I have an easygoing, loveable personality that makes me a great companion and a great addition to almost any home.
