We adopted Buddy nine months ago, and we’ve been ecstatic ever since.
Some of you may have seen Dogs of War on A&E TV. If not, I highly recommend it. Buddy is my dog of war, although my war was long ago. Buddy has filled an empty spot in my life, and helped me deal with my own experiences. I no longer have any brothers, so Buddy has become my new little brother. He doesn’t care if I’m in a wheelchair, or can’t play chase with him. He’s always happy to see me, and we always spend hours together every day. If any of you know of a veteran who needs his own war dog, please tell him (or her) about ABR.
