I wanted to send you a big shout out. We love love love our Maximilian! We adopted him on August 17, 2019.
My family and I met with his foster family and fell head over heals for Max. After much deliberation it was decided that we liked the name he came with and only changed it a little yes we call him Max, but in our house he is Maximilian “super villain” Little Faustino. He just boxer wiggles when we use his full name! His older brother Ares, was as happy as an old man can be about someone who is 6 years younger than you. However, Maximilian has filled a place in our hearts that was missing. He loves to tell you when you are being lazy, he hates sharing toys. Loves to cuddle, spend afternoons on the couch and loves to bark at Ares when he thinks he should wake up! Recently we adopted his new baby sister 12 weeks old and she is giving both older boys a run for their money! She is picking up all of Max’s habits including the wake up and play with me bark! To say he rescued us is a true understatement! We love him to the moon and back.
