Since the day we brought Alia (formally Leah) home in January 2007, we knew she was a perfect fit. We were surprised to find that she understood basic commands and took to my daughter and I like she knew this was her home forever. Although she was a little underweight, she was happy and full of energy. After a few weeks, Alia had put on 5 pounds and filled out beautifully. Although we have two cats that seemed to want to hide from Alia in the beginning, the older cat has now begun to rub up against Alia (although Alia just wants to run and play with her). I want to thank Austin Boxer Rescue for their commitment to these beautiful animals and their unwillingness to compromise in order to ensure the safety of all their available pets. This has truly been the best experience we could have hoped for.
