We couldn’t be more grateful to Andrea and the Austin Boxer Rescue for letting us add Snowflake (now named Faith) to our family. She has fit right in and it’s as if she was meant for us. When we heard that her previous owners had decided to give her up to a kill shelter because she was deaf, it broke our hearts. With Wes being in a wheelchair due to Spina Bifida, we know how it is to deal with disability, and that we could give her the special love, attention, and understanding that she needs. She responds very well to hand signals and from watching our other dogs. We continue to work with her and she continues to teach us something new every day. She is the sweetest, most loving dog I have ever met. She follows us everywhere, and has especially attached herself to our youngest pup, Marilyn who we rescued a few months earlier. We couldn’t imagine our lives without her. Though she is crate trained, we let her sleep in bed with us and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Again, we are so thankful to have her in our lives. Thank you for all of the work that you do and we will continue to keep you updated.
