Austin Boxer Rescue is proud that we are able to help find new homes for Boxers when their owners lives change suddenly. We appreciate them looking out for their Boxers by reaching out to us to help keep their loved ones safe and find them a new, loving, forever family. Today, ABR presents Jessy; an 11 month old fawn female with floppy ears and a cropped tail. She is up to date on all her shots, is heartworm negative and is a healthy, busy, happy Boxer puppy. Her owner noted she has a “Grade 2/6 Heart Murmur. Had an Echocardiogram performed on 5/13/2019 which returned “No structural abnormalities noted. Physiologic murmur.” Which then led to a description of “innocent heart murmur; apparently healthy”.
Jessy is not fond of loud noises (who is?) but she loves the dog park with big and small dogs alike. She lives with a Chihuahua puppy too. Like most youngsters, she stays in her crate without incident when her people are not home, and would probably benefit from a dog door when they are home so she can maintain a spotless record. She is pretty gentle even though she can be a high energy girl. She does not live with cats or kids but she does get along with birds.
Jessy likes to play in the morning and have naps after it gets hot in the afternoon. She takes treats very politely after giving them a lick or two, and carries them a bit out of the way so she can eat them at her leisure. She knows basic commands and does OK on leash. She is adorable, a good girl, and she needs a forever family.
