This dog is an owner surrender and will remain with its owner until rehomed. Dutch just needs a little more time and a wider audience to find his forever home. His current family took him in when he needed it most to help him find a permanent family, but military duty calls, and Dutch is not a police dog. He loves kids and people and gets along with other dogs, so that calling eluded him. And he does not like cop cars.  He is now 8 years old and loves his naps as much as he loves his walks and playing with his 2 year old skin kid.

He’s a happy, well balanced buy who lives inside and out and is certainly house, crate and leash trained although the couch fits so much better than a crate. We’re not sure about his vaccination status but he is neutered and healthy. He likes rides in the car and being with his people.

He has a light brindle coat and a natural tail and ears and is quite handsome. We know he gets on with kids and dogs, but we don’t know about cats. What do you think? Are you ready for a steady, easy companion for you and your kids? Dutch is ready.
