ChuChu is a small female at about 40 pounds and 3 to 4 years old. She is another one of our rescues from the Palm Valley area, and she is receiving 30 days of preventive medication for tick borne illnesses prevalent in that area, as all of our beautiful Boxers from the area receive. ChuChu has a reddish fawn coat with splashes of white on her chest and feet; she has a docked tail and floppy ears. She is heartworm negative.
ChuChu is a little bit timid and cautious with her initial interactions, but then she fits right in. She lives with an older mixed breed dog and loves her people as well. She has a medium energy, is easily trainable, and spends the night with her foster mom. She stays in her crate while her people are not home and does fine. She is housetrained and her leash manners are quickly improving.
ChuChu likes car rides and squeaky toys and, of course, her humans. We do not know if she has met cats or kids. She adapts well to different situations; as we noted with time and support to get comfortable. While ChuChu currently lives with another dog, she may do well with or without a fur buddy, so long as she gets a lot of love, attention and people time.
