October 4, 2019 is one of the hardest days our family has had to endure. We sadly laid our sweet boy Jax to rest, after 6 ½ years together.
We adopted Jax on February 9, 2013, after seeing him at an ABR adoption event. We adopted him because we wanted to give a boxer a second chance at a great life. We are confident we accomplished that and more. Jax was loved beyond measure and even got to experience living in England for 3 years. He enjoyed running in the fields and sitting next to us at the pub, while people came over and gave him attention…which they always did. One morning during a walk, he even stood quietly and looked on as Queen Elizabeth drove past us on her way home.
I don’t think we will ever have another dog quite like him. He was full of spunk, gave the most incredible cuddles, protected our home, stopped people in their tracks with his handsome face, loved to sunbathe outside, snored loudly, and always insisted he have a spot on the couch even when it was full. He slept with our son Brandon countless times and loved getting his paws on a soft blanket.
Jax, we miss you and we love you. You will always be our pup pups.
