Vermont is about 4 years old with a squishy, kissable face in a black mask and soft fawn coat. He’s about 58 pounds now since being found unmoving in a field and taken to a shelter. He was 45 pounds when he got to his ABR foster home. Vermont is very well mannered and sweet, just right for those kisses. He is not a high energy guy but he sure can do a Boxer kidney-bean dance when his foster mom gets home.
Vermont likes to be groomed and cooperates with the groomer. He is house, crate and leash trained but has some limitations. He needs to go outside more often than every 8 hours, and his hip gets a bit sore, probably arthritis, with too much exercise. He has been trustworthy in the house.
Vermont is a young gentleman. He has done well with other dogs and does great with humans. We don’t know about cats and kids. He would do really well in a home with a little slower pace where he could meet a friend for a walk or a play date, or just to lay in the sun together.
