One must wonder why this beautiful Boxer, Tarzy, has been in his foster home for a while now, but his bio from the beginning offers part of the story:
Tarzy is a really good boy who loves to play with his Boxer hosts as long as he can before tiring. That’s getting to be longer and longer as he gradually regains his health. He’s not 100% yet, but he sure is a lot better than when ABR scooped him up and put him in a warm, supportive foster home. Yes, he’s from “the valley” and he was severely emaciated and covered in fleas and ticks. He is on antibiotics as he recovers, and he is gaining weight back to his big Boxer stature. He is heartworm positive and once he’s healthy again, ABR can help his forever family with treatment.

As it developed, Tarzy also had an STD; that’s right, dogs can get ‘em too. He has one more treatment to go and he’s done. And that’s not going to be a problem again for this boy.

Tarzy is around 4 or 5 years old and his gorgeous light brindle coat is taking on it’s proper luster. He is not only a good boy but a sweet and loving guy too. He is crate and house trained and gets on well with his fur buddies, a brother and a sister. They play non stop. He loves being with his family and near his people and is a real joy to have around.. Tarzy is now ready for the next step in his long journey into a forever family. Hopefully he will have a fur buddy or 2, some room to run and play, and people to love on.
