We have another new little girl from the Palm Valley area. Her name is Beaches and she’s about 2 years old with a white coat and lots of spots. She’s on the small side, heartworm negative, and taking preventive medications for the tick borne illnesses so prevalent in that part of the valley.
She needs slow introductions so far as she’s not had a lot of opportunities to test her social skills with other dogs, but she’s learning how to ask them to play. She went to the river with her foster mom and swam and ran with 2 female labs all day long, so her social skills are developing rapidly. She loves her toys and her 13 year old skin kid. She is learning about car rides and going to work with mom. She liked her bath and is feeling comfortable enough to talk with her foster mom.
Beaches is house, crate and leash trained and she does not chase the outside cats. So far, so good. This little gem is getting comfortable as part of the family, and is about ready to make the transfer to your family. She’s waiting to be spayed, and then…
Thank you, Susan Humphreys, for virtually fostering Beaches!
