There’s just something sweet and endearing about a dog carrying a soft toy around all the time. Sadie Mae is never very far from her softies; maybe it just helps when you have a broken leg and a cast and especially when you have a seizure. I’m pretty sure it helps get some extra pets here and there too. This sweet little girl is recovering in a warm foster home now where her cast gets replaced as she grows and her seizures are controlled with medication and love. Sadie Mae has a dark fawn coat with white on her chest and paws.
Sadie Mae does fine with her Boxer host, but needs slow introductions to other dogs before she’s comfortable making friends. She is house and crate trained but that splint makes walks take a back seat to healing. Sadie Mae is heartworm positive but not symptomatic, and ABR will help explain treatment options and help with treatment.
Sadie Mae is not cat friendly and she doesn’t currently live with kids so we don’t know how she relates to them. She does great with her adult humans and is gentle with her soft toys. This little 3 year old is looking for just the right family to help her mend and keep her safe.
