Thank you, Leslie Ray for virtually fostering Roux!

Roux was named in honor of Leslie Ray’s niece Roux Wilmore.

Roux is the base for the very best sauces, most are closely guarded secret recipes. But our Roux is no secret; we couldn’t keep her a secret if we tried. She is tiny with a personality that fills the room, like the aroma of a great spicy Cajun sauce simmering in the kitchen fills the house and piques your interest. She is a 2 year old, 45 pound ball of energy and love with amber eyes searching your being from her black masked face. Wondering if you are ready to play or nap; either way she’s in.

Roux was in a foster home with kids and dogs and one darned cat. Fortunately it was a fast cat. But now she’s in a foster home with Boxers to play with, 2 young elementary aged kids to watch and snuggle, and lots of places to go. She loves all of it from playing chase to wrestling with her fur buddies, watching what her kids are doing, and going on adventures in the car.

Even though Roux has energy to spare she is very well mannered and only jumps up when she meets new friends. She is house. crate, and leash trained, loves her toys, and loves to snuggle. She is heartworm negative, healthy, happy, inquisitive and sweet. You don’t want to wait on this one, or like her namesake, she will be gone.
