Missy Elliot is a small, brindle female who just had her last litter of puppies. At about one year old we can only hope it was also her first. She’s a happy, well behaved girl with jet black eyes. As with all of our rescues from her part of the valley, she is being treated for tick borne illnesses. She is heartworm positive but at her age treatment is not difficult and ABR helps with it. She is otherwise healthy and apparently glad to be done with her mothering duties.
She is currently a medium energy girl who loves her walks. She only tugs when she wants to meet another dog. She is housetrained and has not been destructive in the house so she has not been crated. Missy Elliot is very affectionate and loves to get pets and praise. She lives with 2 older Boxers and they all do well together. We do not know how she relates to cats or kids.
She’s not a good candidate for apartment living as she barks at strange noises and to protect her house and family. She knows basic commands and learns quickly. She would do well in most settings, especially with a male fur buddy to grow with.
