This cute, small one year old is named Skylark. Her owners surrendered her with demodectic mange, which is not contagious. She is now recovering very well with medicated baths and love in her foster home. She lives with an older cat who chooses to not play, and a Labrador who does play and snuggle. Skylark is heartworm negative and spayed, a little skinny, but gaining there too.

Skylark takes her foster mom’s cues very well and snuggles, runs and plays when appropriate. She is house, crate and leash trained and has a medium energy level. She loves her toys, especially the squeaky ones, and left one for her Lab friend when it was bedtime. Skylark is praise motivated and can learn very quickly.

This cute fawn girl won’t be with ABR for long; just long enough to heal and steal a few hearts. She is a real winner who landed in the right place at the right time. She’ll be ready to fly off into her forever home soon.
