ABR doesn’t get many Boxer mixes, but Madge is one. A very cute, tiny one too. She’s about 2 years old and about 30 pounds and full of energy. She will play with all the dogs in her foster home, large or small, until her foster mom says enough for now. She’d play with the cats too, but they have other things to do. Madge is heartworm negative and will be spayed soon.

Madge integrated with the dogs in her home very quickly and easily but it’s taken a little longer for her to warm up to humans. She’s coming around and loves her spot on the couch for tv time. She is house, crate and leash trained and does well in her crate. She is a light fawn and white with a dark mask, natural tail and ears. Her left ear is always perked up a little higher than the other one. She found the toy box straight away and took out every toy until she found her crinkly squirrel, it’s obviously the best toy in the house.

Madge is a real beauty who would likely do well with an active family that can continue building her confidence. She is not too big, and not too small, but just right.
