LaBelle is a petite, one to two year old fawn female with white flash on her chest and toes and a sweet black mask and a long tongue to administer kisses. She quickly settled into her foster home with an older, calm Boxer boy and a cranky, older mini weiner dog. She gladly plays with the Boxer when invited, knows to leave the  old guy alone and plays by herself too.

LaBelle stays in her crate when her people are not home; it’s much safer for inquisitive young Boxers that way, and will go in on her own when she needs a nap. She does well on leash and is house trained. She joins everyone else at bed time on the dog beds and people bed. LaBelle is heartworm positive, but at her age treatment does not have to be difficult and ABR will explain the  options and help with treatment. She is otherwise healthy and happy.

LaBelle has not met cats or kids so we don’t know how she relates to them. She can be high or moderate energy depending on the situation and takes direction well. LaBelle is food motivated and eager to please. She must find the squeaker in her toys and plays with them even after they have been quieted. She has a favorite ball she plays with until she tires, then she curls up with it for a nap. This sweet little girl would likely fit into most any family.
