Freddie Ljungberg is a very handsome brindle fellow with just a touch of gray. He’s 8 years old, calm and healthy. He was found abandoned in a backyard after his family left him. He is about 70 pounds with an adorable underbite. He is heartworm negative.
He lives with a female Boxer about his age and they do well together. He likes his walks, mostly so he can sniff about, and is friendly with people and dogs he meets along the way. He is house trained and leash trained and hasn’t spent any time in a crate in his foster home as he is trustworthy. He likes to play some, like older Boxers do, but snuggling while his head and back are scratched are much better. He enjoyed having the grandkids visit so he and they could love on each other. Freddie has also done well with small dogs.
He’s a happy, calm, easy going guy who needs a walk or 2 each day, or a yard to lay in the sun. He’s a quiet guy who likes to be near his humans and would do well in an apartment, or a calm setting where he gets lots of pets and scratches.
Freddie Ljungberg was named by the Alamo City Arsenal Soccer Fan Group in honor of the coach of Arsenal’s Under 16’s.
