Sun Rae

It took her a few days to warm up and come out of her protective shell, but Sun Rae is now playing with the other three Boxers in her home, and wondering why the cats don’t play too. She’s on the small side for a female, but this 18 month old, flashy fawn with floppy ears and docked tail will put a smile on your face. She came from Palm Valley, where many of ABR’s rescues come from, and as with many before her she is heartworm positive. She is not symptomatic and treatment, with ABR’s support, is not difficult.

Sun Rae is house, crate and leash trained and has discovered the toy box; a magical moment for rescue Boxers. She has excellent dog and people manners and has learned to enjoy the comforts of having a home and family. Sun Rae is just beginning her journey and promises to blossom into a delightful member of her furever family.
