This was Furby at the end of May, 2018 when he came back and went to his current foster home:
This guy, ABR Furby, has gone by Rocky for a while. But he’s coming back home to ABR for the second time now because he just cannot stand to be alone. Maybe he just hasn’t learned it will all work out, but so far being alone just leads him into trouble. He is a very handsome brindle boy with a docked tail and floppy ears. He’s 6 or 7 years old now and is heartworm negative.
Furby is good with people, he’s affectionate and obedient and he gets along with most dogs. He really is a good guy who just needs to have someone to be with and maybe learn they are always coming back. It will be OK. If you are that special person who wants a constant, loyal companion, give Furby a chance.
Well, ABR and his foster mom gave Furby that chance and he is thriving. He lives with 2 other dogs and does fine in the house, or in his crate, as long as they are home too. They play together very well and eat separately. He adores his humans and always stays near, sleeping on his bed near their bed at night. He lived with kids previously and was fine, but he’s not cat friendly. He is house, crate and leash trained.
Furby is ready for his forever family, one with another dog or 2 to keep him company and maybe a kid or 2 to tire him out. This guy has made tremendous progress on his journey from forgotten to family.
