Bartey

This handsome, young flashy fawn male has had a pretty rough go of it until now. Bartey’s only 3 years old and had demodex mange, was severely malnourished, is heartworm positive, and has an old hip injury that makes him limp from time to time. And yet, “He has the best personality…(he) kept the best spirits the whole time.” Says his foster mom. Bartey’s not a big guy at about 41 pounds but he sure has lots of love and smiles. And, he is a professional bed cuddler.

Bartey lives with 2 Boxers he loves to play with; being a bit hyper pretty often. He loves attention and usually follows commands (proving he is a Boxer.) He is house, crate and leash trained and has lived with cats in a temporary foster home. He offered bits of his food to get them to play. He has been very dog friendly and has greeted kids properly, even though he does not currently live with kids.

This little guy would fit in almost anywhere. ABR helps with heartworm treatment so that shouldn’t be a big deal. This little trooper will sail through with a smile. Bartey loves car rides and running around in the backyard, and his people. And pretty much anything else that comes his way.
